Run For Your Lives! Setlist speculation thread

Since they are doing the first 9, my wish is that they do 2 songs from EACH album, with 3 from FOTD (19 songs isn't that unrealistic since many are shorter songs) and do them all sequentially, in order, from the debut to FOTD. There are so many songs that I really never need to hear live ever again, so I'm wishing for lots of deep cuts that havent been played much if at all. I mean, they finally dragged out Alexander so why not please us hardcore fans some more? So my dream set list is this:

Intro- Transylvania

Phantom
Prowler
Innocent Exile
Another Life
22
Gangland
Still Life
Dune
Duellists
BITV
Sea of Madness
 TLOTLDR
SSOASS
The Clairvoyant
Public Enema
Fate's Warning
BQOBD
Wasting Love
FOTD

No encores, just straight through.
An added bonus would be some original acoustic guitar from Adrian right before Wasting Love, to make everone wonder what the hell they are about to hear. I LOVE that song.

I think they will play these songs.

-The Ides of March (Instrumental)
-Killers
-Only the Good Die Young
-Die with Your Boots On
-Murders in the Rue Morgue
-Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter
-22 Acacia Avenue
-Wasting Love
-Infinite Dreams
-Heaven Can Wait
-No Prayer for the Dying
-Deja-Vu
-From Here to Eternity
-Fear of the Dark
-Iron Maiden
- Hallowed be thy Name
-Run to the Hills

And I guess they could consider this ones also:
-Phantom Of The Opera
-Running Free
-Purgatory
-Powerslave
-Rime of the Ancient Mariner
-Aces High
-Tailgunner
-Be Quick or Be Dead

I know what I did, I skip Phantom

After careful evaluation of nearly two months (note; may differ from setlist competition) :

-Starting and finishing with early days songs (Sanctuary & Running Free) to make a full circle

-Expect a peculiar choice from the Killers album (so basically anything but Wrathchild) since the Maiden Japan references in tour posters etc

-Three, three three, obvious choices of the beast. Total Eclipse has to wait for another day

-Sun & Steel or To Tame A Land has a reasonable chance. I'd pick Dune over Rime or 7th Son personally

-2-3 songs from Powerslave

-Somewhere In Time is completely, although understandably omitted for painfully obvious reasons

-7th Son is curious. 6/8 have a chance to appear (not Madness cos its in the set now) and not Prophecy either simply for being the least likely

-Three songs from the two 90s Bruce albums (obviously including title track of the latter). Don't really care which they play as long as they do

My guess would be the following:
1). Be Quick or be Dead or Tailgunner
2). The Number of the Beast
3). Wrathchild or Prowler
4). Revelations
5). Can I Play With Madness or Only the Good Die Young
6). The Trooper
7). Rime of the Ancient Mariner or SSOASS
8). The Evil that Men Do
9). Phantom of the Opera
10). Fear of the Dark
11). Bring Your Daughter… To the Slaughter
12). The Clairvoyant
13). Wasted Years or Heaven Can Wait
14). Run to the Hills
15). 2 Minutes to Midnight
16). Iron Maiden
ENCORE
17). Hallowed Be Thy Name
18). Drifter
19). Sanctuary
20). Running Free

I think that the list will be something pretty similar to FOTD tour, also, let’s take into account that Maiden sometimes does setlists based in classic live albums, they already did a Setlist based in Live After Death (SBIT 2008/09), and Maiden England (2012/14), so according to the order the next album would be Donnington 92, so the setlist would be something similar to that live album.

FOTD tour setlist was ok (at least for me).

Posible songs: Infinite Dreams, Afraid to Shoot Strangers, No Prayer for the Dying, Die With Your Boots On, Killers and Remember Tomorrow.

YES!! Wasting Love would be amazing!!

I'm not expecting either. It's time to open with a 90's song.

Agreed. The songs from Powerslave will be 2 at most imo. Seventh Son's choices are indeed curious.

Well said about the LAD '92 live concert. FOTD tour setlist was good for its time, but they can make the new one more interesting, for sure.

in the 90s they where stuck to play the same classics. Aces high, prisoner, powerslave, rime, and many others where forgotten mabye since 87 to 98.

I hope it's not a FOTD and No prayer heavy setlist. I'd be happy if no song appears off these two albums. Fear of the Dark will be played for sure though. Maybe Bring your daughter too. That's all imo. I like some songs like No prayer and Fates warning but I don't think they would play them. Also, Paul passed so I think they will play more songs than what they have originally planned, from the first 2 albums. They have some songs that they have to play too, like hallowed, 666, run to the hills, trooper, fear, 2 minutes. I don't think there is much room for the 90s.

Hi, I'm new here, although I've been following the Irons for many years. If there is no unexpected setback, I will see them again (my fourth time) in July 2025 in Madrid. Although I appreciate most of the band's albums and what they continue to do today, I am especially a fan of the first five. So my dream setlist (unlikely) would look a lot like this.

1º Moonchild
2º 22 Acacia Avenue
3º Flash of the Blade
4º The Trooper
5º 2 Minutes to Midnight
6º Wrathchild
7º Phantom of the Opera
8º Sanctuary
9º Killers
10º The Number of the Beast
11º Flight of Icarus
12º Remember Tomorrow (the most unlikely of all but hopefully)
13º Powerslave
14º Rime of the Ancient Mariner
15º Hallowed Be Thy Name
16º Fear of the Dark
17º Iron Maiden
18º Run to the Hills
19º Wasted Years
20º Die With Your Boots On

1. Aces High
2. Prowler
3. Moonchild
4. The Trooper
5. Afraid To Shoot Strangers
6. Wrathchild
7. The Evil That Men Do
8. 2 Minutes To Midnight
9. Be Quick Or Be Dead
10. Flight Of Icarus
11. Powerslave
12. Can I Play With Madness
13. Fear Of The Dark
14. Twilight Zone
15. Wasting Love
16. Iron Maiden
17. The Number Of The Beast
18. Killers
19. From Here To Eternity
20. Run To The Hills

1. Aces High
2. Prowler
3. Moonchild
4. The Trooper
5. Afraid To Shoot Strangers
6. Wrathchild
7. The Evil That Men Do
8. 2 Minutes To Midnight
9. Be Quick Or Be Dead
10. Flight Of Icarus
11. Powerslave

13. Fear Of The Dark
14. Twilight Zone
15. Wasting Love

17. The Number Of The Beast
18. Killers
19. From Here To Eternity
20. Run To The Hills
I’d love to see that setlist, looks great!

They usually play around 17 songs. I think they will play a few more this time, considering that the new drummer is in better physical condition than Nicko.

There are quite a few obvious songs, which can be seen in the tour cover artwork. I also think they will play some surprises. It could be a song they haven't played for a long time or even a song that hasn't been played until now.

And lastly, I think they will play a new song, because I'm sure they will release their 18th album in 2026. So, this is my proposed setlist:

1. Prowler
2. Wrathchild
3. The number of the beast
4. 2 minutes to midnight
5. Phantom of the opera
6. Killers
7. The trooper
8. The evil that men do
9. Die with your boots on
10. Rime of the ancient mariner
11. ***NEW SONG***
12. Judas be my guide
13. Infinite dreams
14. Bring your daughter to the slaughter
15. Wasted years
16. Fear of the dark
17. Iron maiden
—Encore—
18. Hallowed be thy name
19. Running free
20. Run to the hills

I wonder if they'll choose stuff they played during the Early Days tour. Like Another Life. Remember Tomorrow making a comeback would be very nice as well.

Here’s my choice, and I’ll be in a right huff if they don’t do exactly all of these songs in exactly this order:

Phantom of The Opera
Wrathchild
Revelations
Be Quick or Be Dead
Sea of Madness
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Can I Play With Madness?
Die With Your Boots On
Powerslave
Back in The Village
Rime of The Ancient Mariner
Run To The Hills
Running Free
Iron Maiden

Number of The Beast
The Trooper
