Those shows are part of why 50,000 at Knebworth this year is a very good result. It's the second leg of the tour, which means the novelty factor is gone. And like you say, they played a lot of people last year in the UK. Knebworth is also a nightmare to get to compared to a stadium show in London and casuals won't bother. The supporting bands didn't offer much support either, to put it that way.Not sure if that is quite good though, especially considering it was announced as a one-off extravaganza and last year they had 70k at London Stadium when they were also playing in Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow...
What a fiasco. Who's the jinx? They'd better not use the Knebworth recording unless the vocals are overdubbed...
This: but considering the heat at the weekend, he probably just thought "ah, bollocks to that ..."He’s definitely lost some hair, but he has bangs to cover up his high forehead a bit

I agree 100% with youBoth San Siro and EddFest at Knebworth were huge crowds and very successful. Those arguing some gigs would be a flop are looking at it all wrong IMHO. It’s not about capacity but about tix sold.
I am in Texas and will be attending the Alamodome gig. As of right now they have sold about 35K seats. Could sell 10K - 12K more. But any band at their peak would be exited to play to 35K, much less being a 50 year anniversary tour. My guess is Alamodome will end up with 38-40K. Short of a sellout for that venue but still a HUGE crowd and one Rob and Maiden will be happy with IMHO.
