RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Eight pages on the power issue so far and you guys are still acting like someone died.

The power went out for a while and the people at the venue missed hearing three songs.

Let’s keep things in perspective, holy shit.
No one acts like that. People are simply discussing the incredibly bad luck of the one show that was announced from the get go as being recorded for a live release, being the one where multiple songs were cut. Talking about how they are going to proceed with the live album is interesting and worth discussing.

People on a forum are talking about things? How deranged of us.

Let's keep things in perspective, holy shit ;)

I have a niggling suspicion that when they do finally retire, Steve is gonna start releasing the giant pile of live recordings he's doubtless sitting on in one capacity or another (personally I'm hoping the Hammersmith '83 bootleg gets official blessing and a full tidy-up).
There’s a quote from Rod in a recent tour programme or something where he says that there is ‘No vault’. When I read that at the time, I thought it was a strange comment. There definitely is a vault, even if it small. We know this because Donnington 2007 was fully recorded and mixed by Kevin Shirley. There is also clearly something in the vault from 2006, as seen on Flight 666.

I believe this comment is purely down to Steve’s ‘perfectionism’. I put it in quotation marks because I think we all agree that he is most definitely not a perfectionist. At least not anymore. He just goes with his own personal feeling all the time, regardless of quality.

I think that too but i expect material since 1999.

It`s completely understandable that the issue in Paris is discussed but to me it`s a simple fix. Record the missing songs elsewhere and make the setlist complete for the release, who cares about continuity for this one, we all know why there will be a discrepancy.

It looks like it was a great gig in Paris and a real shame the fans didn`t get the encore which is great live .

How about 8 pages praising the band for bringing back Infinite Dreams , something people called for didn`t expect to get .Now we have it and Maiden are nailing it every night and it`s hardly discussed, the band`s and Bruce`s performance on this tour and 2026 so far in particular is top drawer.

"Honestly, I think Maiden should just embrace the chaos for the upcoming live release.
Instead of trying to fix or hide what happened in Paris, they should leave '2 Minutes to Midnight' exactly as it was—complete with the sudden blackout, the stage going dark, and the crowd singing in the pitch black. It would be an incredibly raw, powerful, and historic moment on the DVD. Then, they could just cut straight to the electricity coming back on for 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'.
As for the missing encores (Aces High, Fear of the Dark, Wasted Years), they could easily use the footage and audio from the 2025 shows at that exact same arena to fill the gap.
They could name the whole live album: 'This Is What Not To Do If La Défense Shits On You 25-26'.
It has that perfect, classic Maiden tongue-in-cheek humor, and it would make this release an instant legendary collectible. What do you guys think?"

IM going to say that is strange that a place like that have a powercut the day that they were recording a dvd.

The name is ok, chose another shows to record the part missing.

On thing i notice about the videos bruce is sounding less strained and he sounds like not trying to go too high. I think he should sing some songs like 1992.

What? That's just blatantly untrue lmao

It was discussed at length on the opening night and the following days, as well as multiple videos about the song being shared from various nights. Y'all are just making shit up at this point.

Searching for Infinite Dreams on the forum from just before the 2026 leg started returns 10 pages of posts. And that's before all the speculation, hints and discussion leading into the tour.

Maybe we could post hilarious pictures instead?

Imagine how much stuff Lauren Harris is going to release in 20 years.

Look at what Dhani Harrison and Sean Lennon are doing at the moment. $1350 box sets etc.

Dhani did an All Things Must Pass box set made out of wood from George Harrison’s estate. Maybe we can get a Fear of the Dark box made out of Steve’s barn.

Inter cut the concert with footage of Eddie roaming around backstage looking for trouble. Then, during 2MTM, Eddie is shown switching off the generator for laughs. The band are then forced to go backstage and fight him off. Then Rod sighs in Yorkshire and switches the breaker back on. Cut back to main stage.

Feasible!

Bruce comments, “Despite everything the audience and atmosphere last night were fantastic and, like every other challenge Iron Maiden have faced over the years, we’ll find a way to deal with and overcome the missing songs in the encore when it comes to the final film.
Great to hear, this is something they've never done before. 2 Minutes shouldn't be cutted, it's only fair. Record it from another arena show this year (the sound should be the same, not sure about the video, but more or less and it would be 1 song, not like Live Chapter) or just use the 2025 Paris version. I'm expecting live concert + a documentary, Bruce also called it film.

Simon's snare head on is the Nicko Special. :)
