I think the 5-5 Senjutsu/Somewhere in Time split was established already by the time the tour announcement was rolled out in October 2022. I think they knew the five SIT songs they were going to do from the get go.

Hallowed and Infinite Dreams replaced with Running Free and Afraid to Shoot Strangers. Worst trade in history. And I like both songs we ended up with!

I've kicked myself for not making it out to Maiden England when it happened, but I almost feel worse for knowing what we as a fanbase didn't get now setlist-wise.

Myself I am happy with it being the first tour I ever saw - two biggest reasons are the stage look and Afraid to Shoot Strangers in particular

And I love Afraid to Shoot Strangers, but if I had to pick between it or Infinite - I'd take Infinite.

Looked at ticket prices for the venues closest to me and cheapest I saw was $150 for lawn seats. What the ever loving fuck is going on? So instead, wife and I used our “concert money” to go see Ghost next month. It’s a fair trade: I’ve seen Maiden five times and never seen Ghost.
