RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Something like this could be good guess. I really don't believe that they will not play in Croatia.
May 23/ Athens
May 26 / Sofia
May 28 / Bucharest
May 30 / Bratislava
Jun 2 / Hannover
Jun 4 / Sweden Rock
Jun 6 or 7 / Rock Am Ring/Park
Jun 10 / Amsterdam
Jun 13 / Pula
Jun 14 / Pula
Jun 17 / Milano
I think Croatian gigs will be the beginning of the tour.

Sounds plausible as Rod mentions the tour being based around most of Europe’s pre-eminent festivals.

On a press release-related note, Rod’s mention of not getting radio play back in the day makes me cringe. Maiden were played on MTV and many (mainstream) radio stations during their 80s heyday. Not as often as some big non-metal bands, but I definitely remember hearing Maiden songs on the radio in the late 80s.

If you mean Radio 1 radio play, then no, they got next to nothing other than maybe the Friday Rock Show every now and then. The regional independent equivalent radio stations weren't very metal friendly either. 80s radio was swamped by first the most sugar coated pop and then Stock, Aitken and Waterman

Does anybody know where I can find Maiden tech tour rider where I can see stage dimensions? Thanks. :)
The Spanish newspaper MARCA had them before the 1st Wanda Metropolitano gig during LOTB along with other tech and production things. Can't find the article now, but it was online.

They must mean stadium headline show. They want to play the most important metal festivals in Europe, and none of them are in Germany?
That would be a ludicrous plan.

Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out to be Motley Crue.

You could buy a ticket insurance and then claim the announcent has made you very sick? ;)

I agree with Hendrik. I put Iron Maiden in the suggestions for the Wacken survey I get every year (just because I always do), but if they don't play any major festivals in Germany on their tour of important festivals, whoever came up with this plan should be demoted to an assistant role.
