RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Id argue Bruce sounded much worse on The Time Machine last year than he does on Aces this year. No one cried about that for 200 pages. I believe people want to dislike this tour.
Time Machine wasn't that easy for Bruce live, but it was nice-to-good and definitely not as tough as Aces.
Same with RiR version of Wicker Man, it just roars. A shame that they seem to have gone for a less heavy rythm guitar tone after that (or put Adrian lower in the mix)
Their rhythm sound has become much weaker both studio and live since 2010, unfortunately.
I quite like Simon's more muscular sound and think that Nicko at times sounded too weak and tinny live, but of course it is subjective
I wouldn't say that. Simon is a more aggressive play drummer, yes. I like both.

Just wait until you hear the first KK's Priest record that he mixed. Needless to say, for the sophomore record, K.K. put some money down and got the Danish guy that does Primal Fear and UDO mix it instead.

I was there in Paris, and if you're coming out of the show thinking "Aces high was fucking terrible. And I mean fucking terrible. A disaster.", over what, a few lines of vocals being not great?, then maybe take a break from internet forums, social media etc. because it's not doing you any good, and your missing the point of a rock n roll show.
I love Blaze Bayley but can you imagine if all these forums and YouTube videos existed of him during his Maiden tours? Especially his worst nights.

"maiden are finito! It's over, it was a disaster, they're done!"

I cannot watch Blaze live videos with Maiden, it is like some parody band.

But no hate to Blaze, I like X-Factor and his solo work, he was just way to off in any sense with Maiden.

I like his version of afraid to shoot strangers and most of his singing his own songs with maiden live

Regarding Maiden shows - does anyone know how it look schedule wise i.e.
5p.m - gates open
6p.m - support band
8p.m - Maiden?

I don't want to go for support so I'm trying to figure out time to get into venue.

There are plenty of bootlegs of his bad nights lol

But there wasn't much of an internet forum culture, with people posting realtime comments from gigs they weren't at, nor a generation of people bred on the toxicity of forums/social media.

The star wars-ification of metal is sad to see, we're only just short of someone posting that Bruce has ruined their childhood with recent versions of Aces High

Saw someone say on Reddit Steve doesn't seem to be reliably playing his bass lines live as well as he used to, as if age is really catching up to him. Any truth to that? I know it's inevitable but hope that's a long way off.
