I feel very enthusiastic about this tour. Sure, Nicko is not there and there's no really true deep cuts on the setlist, but Murders, Killers, Phantom, Seventh Son, Rime, Clairvoyant and Powerslave are worth buying a ticket.
I think all the recent tours I've seen (LOTH '18, '22, and TFP) have been wonderful.
The setlists have been really solid, and I’ve already come to terms with them skipping my favorite song again on this tour.
It all kicks off with Doctor, Doctor, and from there, we're off on another adventure. I always get so immersed in the moment, and it hits me even harder because I know there aren’t too many of these tours and these moments left.
It feels strange that Nicko isn’t there anymore, but from the few clips and comments I've seen, I really like the energy and drive they still have.
I know, I know. We need to savor these moments. I missed the last tour and the second part of Legacy, so I haven't seen them since 2018(!). By the way, how's the quality of the merch nowadays? Is it still fruit of the loom or have they switched to Gildan?
People can talk all they want about not being enthusiastic for the setlist or the tour, but at the end of the day, when you hear Doctor, Doctor and hear the crowd go wild and jumping up and down - of course you are going to go crazy as well.
I was first to the barrier in Stavanger - still cannot get over how good it was. My best live Maiden experience ever, and I got some to choose from over the years.
Apparently more tickets have become available again? I saw you can buy tickets for Stockholm, London and other locations again if someone still needs tickets.
I think TFP with Nicko's condition was too risky. Now, with Simon on board, they are still ironing things out. I think there might be one late during this year or next year.

Would be an interesting thing to try, but with this tour's angle (if we want to call it that?) of 'please don't film the show', it'd be a funny juxtaposition.
It's only logical that most of the songs were better in 2008 (almost 20 years earlier), but most of the songs still sound fantastic. Powerslave, Phantom and SSOASS in particular are still 10/10 nowadays.
TFP tour was unique, but I guess it's a mix of Nicko not playing (the magic) and the most ''standard'' setlist in 12 years (ofc we've had more of these before). Deep cuts/new songs make tours unique (to say), unlike in the 90's. I think a hype for a new album is generally bigger. But like I said before, minus the encore, you can't help but enjoy this celebration of Maiden metal classics!

I think they might stream next year (RIR?), not this one. I'm curious if they'll release official video/s(a tradition) and concert video with the current live lineup of the band.
I know it's very rare that Maiden changes up the setlist mid tour, but I genuinely think they'll swap out Aces at some point. Either that, or finally have a set of tuned down instruments so it can be epic again with Bruce's deeper vocals.

This post might be more suitable for a thread dedicated to a lighter, more trivial content, but since it would spoil a song that is being played, I'm posting it here instead.
Intrigued by the dates displayed in the animation during Wasted Years (and since I had plenty of free time ), I noted most of them down and had fun searching for connections — historical events, releases, and more — linked to the band. A couple are still missing, and the last one, set in the future, remains a mystery. Here you go!

I have read elsewhere that Youtube videos from the current tour have been removed from different channels following requests from Iron Maiden LLC. Is there any truth in that?

Yes. A bunch of the videos linked and embedded in this thread have that disclaimer.
Yes. I went back and read 100 pages of this thread today now that I saw the show yesterday.
Loosely speculating in hindsight, those videos might either have been live streams or fully recorded concerts.
Watching the full concert now. I'm still at the beginning relatively (Powerslave) but imo Simon plays much better Clive's songs than Nicko. And for Nicko's songs he's great too. Wish they will record with him their next album.
He's come right out and said tuning down is "not authentic."
Love Bruce and all, but jeebus...set your ego aside and open your ears. You're not in your twenties anymore. Nobody expects you to hit the same high notes, and most would rather you didn't try.
