Didn’t stop them playing a song from Virtual XI on the last “greatest hits” tour they did. Daughter was a hell of a lot more popular than anything from the Blaze era was, it was their only number one single! As for No prayer, let's not pretend that album is a masterpiece when it isn't.
That guy who jumped up and sang “Iron Maiden!” on Raising Hell. He was awesome. Steve should have hired him in 1993. He was right there! So who will replace Bruce? Bald guy from British Lion?
That's why I think they just don't like No Prayer as an album, they want to forget it exists. Clansman and Sign of the Cross are still good songs and sound better live with Bruce.Didn’t stop them playing a song from Virtual XI on the last “greatest hits” tour they did. I'm not sure about that. Ultimately the feedback they care about is the box office, and considering this tour sold like hotcakes as soon as tickets went on sale (and likely before the setlist was finalized) I don't think the fans minded the deep cuts.Maybe they dont like the feedback from previous tour playing deep cuts and rare song so they decide to play on the safe side.

Let's be honest, this is why Maiden can't be Metallica. If you can't present your magnificent discography to people, then everyone will think your music is just about just Run, Hallowed, Wrathchild and Trooper.
We forced Maiden to change 1-2 songs in a quarter of a century, while Metallica plays 40 songs in total for 2 days in a row without repeating any song! Ok their song structures are easier for them to learn the songs just before the show, but you are Iron Maiden, the true trail blazer in every area of this music genre... You should include more deep cuts in your songs that show the deepness of your music.
What a blast from the past, haven't seen this in over a decade!the self declared "greek bruce dickinson"
Where are you seeing these photos?Ok so we got more and more photos that some of the screen animation are AI generated.

Yeah, they will probably want to have one main decor for a stage set of a new album, although they can only bring it for the new songs and for the others with the specific themes. I like this feature a lot and want it to on every tour. It's perfect and the best move! But it do seems like a special feature for this tour with ''many visual worlds'' of Maiden.I think if the next tour is a new album tour then the LED screen for a backdrop will remain (but not as wide as it currently is), but the staging for the risers will go back to one specific theme rather than LEDs.
The full on embrace of LEDs for both this tour I feel has to do with the "many worlds of Maiden" but from the various press releases.
Nah... Homer Dickinson here.So who will replace Bruce? Bald guy from British Lion?

Also, are we sure that the animations are AI? I know some of them on Mariner have that sort of look, but I'd really like confirmation
Adrian has said in interviews that he is very much against using AI in art (or at least in songwriting), so I can believe that the band likes to honor real artists rather than AI tech bros.I know a few illustrators IRL who have worked with Bruce on his graphic novels and Maiden on some prints and posters (not name dropping, that's unimportant but understand that's my profession: illustration). One thing I know is that both Bruce individually and the band as an entity appreciate and respect the craft, the creativity, the imagination of artists. So when I hear charges of them using Ai-based images during their show, my opinion...and that's all it is, an opinion...is that I doubt it. I mean, MAYBE some, like the ocean waves in "Mariner"..? But there's so many specific references in the animations that I doubt Ai was the basis.
We dont need to pretend, because it is true.Let's not pretend Metallica is out there playing all of these deep cuts themselves. Their setlist screams of classics for casuals and they completely ignore St Anger.
If there is ''not a good feedback'' it was probably for the new songs (not the deep cuts from the 80's, casuals right! - which were really only 3). I'm sure the casual fans will enjoy some NPFTD/FOTD songs (Daughter, Be Quick, Wasting Love, Afraid... like some Blaze era songs, so let's not pretend it's the other way around) and Maiden always sell out their tours in advance, so. Hits tours will have more appeal and that's normal, but that's not what it's about. They don't want it. They should have added at least 2 more deep cuts for the tour. It's all excuses, they'll never change in some aspects.Maybe they dont like the feedback from previous tour playing deep cuts and rare song so they decide to play on the safe side.
Do you think they can't change 2 songs that were played during the previous 2 tours? They have many 80's hits.Bro be realistic.
