RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Are the crowds getting quieter with years passing?

Listen to Fear of the Dark in France in 2008 (20 000 fans)

Same arena in 2018

Bigger arena in 2022 (40 000 fans)

Maybe it's just the bigger arena in 2022, or maybe it is already quieter in 2018 than in 2008 in the same arena... It could be the recordings being different...
What do you guys who have kept on going seeing Maiden think ? I saw them in 2008 and in 2011 (same arena again, Bercy) and Fear of the Dark made me feel like I'm a part of the best cult on the planet. But then seeing the France 2022 and now the 2025 videos it just feels like the crowd is much less passionate. Did it really happen ? Do you guys think Maiden had a more passionate crowd 14 years ago ?

Last era of real lively audience (theres a few exceptions but...) was early 2010s. After that, the majority of people just wants to shows to others that they were there rather than properly watch the shows. It became so annoying lately that some bands started to not allow cell phones inside venues.

Damn. My expectations are too high.

I see bruce a bit out of breath during murders but still very cool to hear it singing like this. The screams during killers better than the first night and the part before the storm during mariner " he praise for his beauty not doom " that part.....AWESOME. how can he do that. Best singer ever and frontan ever. Even if he doesnt move like the old days his presence is impresive.
The drummer,Simon. Strong for me is the word. Sounds harder. I prefer nicko.
And that reference of simon drumming like clive barr. I dont see that feeling at all.

Ι'm fine if they end every gig from now on with Wasted Years. It's still for me their most enjoyable hit and also the perfect song to end a gig with.
I don't think it will happen. The only thing I don't want anymore is RTTH as a closer. Maybe Sanctuary/RF come back.
They can end the show with many songs evil that men do for example. Wasted years is good but they have many songs for a sing along ending. Fear of the dark, the trooper. ..

Phones. Its true. If you check videos from 90s i can understand they want to go back to that.for the audience and for them

Be quick before the minions are dispatched.

It seems like Adrian wasn't singing backing vocals during this one. Probably a monitoring issues or illness. Bruce notices it and mocks him "Adrian cover for me..." which results in an annoyed Adrian stare :D.

It also means pure Steve during RTTH, which is amusing.
The minions have been dispatched.

The crowds changed drastically over the years, I've seen every Maiden tour from 1990 on, and it got constantly quieter. Which is a thing I don't mind btw. Being 50 now, I don't need to behave at a concert like a 15 year old anymore, and all that pushing around etc. pissed me off in 1990 already. So, things got better. :-)

What other event shirts do you expect? I ordered all three yet (Budapest, Prag, Nordic) and I'm excited what's to come. Do you think they'll do a separate London tee? Or do you expect more a general UK shirt?
