They lure you in, then you get bitten by an assortment of snakes and spiders, lunged at by crocodiles, chewed up by those wobblegonk things, disemboweled by a cassowary, punched by a kangaroo, and shat on by a budgie. Budgies are the Devil. I once got bitten on the nose by one.

Both. Peter was a weirdly temperamental budgie. One minute he'd run along your shoulder and sit there listening to you talk, next thing he'd take a swipe at your ear, lip or nose. It smarts.

Summer: love the heat, what little there is of it in Estonia, love the long nights where it barely ever gets dark
Autumn: beautiful colors, good photography lighting, tediously many cloudy days
Winter: hate the cold, hate the dark, love the look of thick snow glistening under clear skies
Spring: love nature's awakening and everything else, except when it's hella windy and still cold well into the spring months.

Why I really came here was to rant about taxis: 17,70€ for a ride home on a Thursday night...fuck off with those prices. Ain't no poor university student got money for that.
