I prefer client. In Serbian, "client" is "klijent" and "customer" is "mušterija", and since "mušterija" sounds old-fashioned, I just use "klijent".

Why not use the universal Slavic word "debil" instead?

The fish is fished in the North Atlantic by Norwegian fishing boats, frozen and sent by plane to China where it is cut and packaged before returning to Norway?

I'd have thought it was by ship - I was once told that wool producers in New Zealand are in a similar arrangement because supposedly it's cheaper to ship the wool to China, have it made into undies, and ship the undies back to Kiwiland than it is to stump up for 1st world labour rates.

I got into football because of the World Cup, after 17 years of absolutely despising it, and decided to get into the Premier League to satisfy my new football fix.

Well, we switched to Sky just after the World Cup and didn't get any sports channels because we never watched them. So because you don't get a single one on Sky without the package it makes it much harder to watch any football and means I can't just throw a match on every weekend on TV
