Powergirl81,
So you want the answer on artists and their albums that were released in 1984? I give you several of them:
1. Powerslave - Iron Maiden
2. Ride the Lightning - Metallica
3. Fistful of Metal - Anthrax
4. Tooth and Nail - Dokken
5. First Strike - Def Leppard
6. Wings of Tomorrow - Europe
7. Perfect Strangers - Deep Purple
8. Defenders of the Faith - Judas Priest
9. No Remorse - Motörhead
10. Rising Force - Yngwie Malmsteen
11. 1984 - Van Halen
12. The Last in Line - Dio

I have never actually heard of an album by Def Leppard called First Strike. Granted I gave up on them before that time, but I was still aware of the odd album title in the eighties (after all, they were one of the worlds biggest bands back then). Care to shed a bit of light on that? Was it just not a UK release or an EP or something?

Add to that the classic Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales, Metal Church's eponymous debut, and Psalm 9 by Trouble.

As well as Status Quo's 12 Gold Bars. ;)

I'm sorry I confused/upset you guys. thousand_suns' answer is good enough for me. If any of you want to do the research, fine. I won't ask anymore questions  :S

There's nothing wrong with the question, but if you ask too general or too specific a question, you're not really going to get a) an answer that satisfies you or b) any answer at all.

Donuts,
Your answer is correct. The swordfish uses its bill or sword to slash its intended prey before eating it.

Queen released their album "The Works" in 1984. It shouldn't be forgotten, as it spawned some of the bands greatest hits, such as "Radio Ga Ga", "I Want To Break Free", "Hammer To Fall" and "It's A Hard Life". Pop music never got any better.
Also, "Crusader" by Saxon is often forgotten, because it is the first of their post-"classic" albums.
