The Thought did cross my mind, then I saw some of my old posts and realized that I am funny, so that couldn't be it :p

Just having a horrible start to the year and obviously out of some loop since I don't come by as much as I used to.

You mean you were funny!  Ha-- just adding my own levity...

So, I have an (not the) answer to the ultimate mystery of life, the universe and everything:  Shitty things happen to good people because humans can't live in an eternal state of euphoria.  I think those 'random' shitty things are to make us realize just how good life actually is for us.  So, when the next shitty thing happens to you, look around for the good stuff!
 
LOL, you're right wasted... I was :( Anywho, it still isn't THAT bad, just compared to the previous two years this one looks like the 7th ring of Hell, but quite honestly I really don't have much to complain about... it's just weird...

Semester holidays... but the term exams are scattered all across the month. Had one last Monday, next one is on Monday and the final one on the 24th. Most of my mates are already exchanging their blood for alcohol and will probably be dead by the time I can start drinking. And for the last week, myself and most others in my course had much trouble trying to keep ourselves from going completely nuts. As I said, something's rotten here...
 
I strenuously object to this thread. The above posts aren't "random" at all. In fact, they constitute a perfectly coherent conversation. This thread title is misleading. This one goes to eleven. These pretzels are making me thirsty. The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.
 
Is anything truly random?  I think everything is pre-destined, and that anything I do has already been done.
