9/10. Minus for the shitty drum machine. The live version from the Epitaph tour was epic and during the first couple of months or so of the tour Rob sang the intro the way like on the record (w. varied success).

One of their best epics.

Very good intro, verses, great chorus, riffs and the melody before the solo is one of the best from the band. Rob's high pitched vocals are perfect during the chorus. The end of the song is quite good, as well... -> 10/10.

The Forum isn't roaring with activity, now is it? Resurrecting old threads at least make for more posts and discussion. It's rather slow at the moment so it's much better than posting in the same old threads if you ask me.

No problem at all with these drums. Its cold mechanical sound fits the bleak topic/vibe I talked about in my previous post.

The drums add up to the atmosphere, with standard drums and without that 80s synth sound this would boil down to yet another power metal epic.
