Queensryche & Geoff Tate

Threads work better if they have one stable title (unless it’s minimal edits like in the forum games section).

Tate's going to perform all of Empire and Rage For Order on his upcoming tour. And with his voice sounding so good and him getting a band who can actually play the music, I would recommend this.

2020 dates so far are as follows. I'm really hoping for a Minnesota show after Illinois. He might do another leg in the summer or fall also.

Feb. 21 - Jergels - Warrendale, Pennsylvania
Feb. 22 - Mount Ponoco - Mount Poncho, Pennsylvania
Feb. 23 - Town Ballroom - Buffalo, New York
Feb. 26 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Feb. 27 - The Warehouse FTC - Fairfield, Connecticut
Feb. 28 - Stereo Garden LI - Patchogue, New York
Mar. 01 - Tupelo Music Hall - Derry, New Hampshire
Mar. 04 - The Haunt - Ithaca, New York
Mar. 05 - The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern - Cleveland, Ohio
Mar. 06 - The Token Lounge - Westland, Michigan
Mar. 07 - Arcada Theater - St. Charles, Illinois

I wish either Geoff Tate or Queensryche could write something new that I’ll remember.

Queensryche at least tries. Geoff seems to have a tour every other year featuring only material from Empire or Operation Mindcrime.

I’m tempted to go see Tate’s mindcrime live. Although the 3 hour drive each way is somewhat pushing it when I could go for a 1 hour drive to see Fogerty...

Yeah go to Fogerty. See Queensryche when they come play in the Seattle area instead.

Queensryche does a decent live show. They are a shell of their former selves though. They mostly play casinos nowadays.
I saw them supporting Judas Priest on JP's fake farewell tour. Geoff was still in the band at the time. I will see them again a week on Sunday.
