Considering Eddie, I think his main two recognizable features are eyes and nose. I loved how he's drawn from '81-91' with black sockets and tiny white dot in the middle (exception being that laser eye in 87-88, but I'm OK with that). Onwards it's like they moved him from "sinister" to "gore" where, IMO, he lost a lot of his appeal. It doesn't really matter who draws him, as long as he keeps those two features "original". (BTW, those '98 CD remasters where they added red eyes on original 80s artwork are huge two thumbs down.) So, when it comes to "Senjutsu" IDK... I see why people like it, I got used to the fangs (TFF was way worse, and I remember the interview where Bruce talked how he told Steve that fangs on the alien Eddie should be longer and so on and WTF...), background is kinda lackluster-ish but really: I wouldn't really mind any of that if they nailed the eyes. And this samurai Eddie doesn't look sinister, nor gore, nor evil. He just looks like he's on cocaine.
