Was the single version of this faster or something? It sounds really slow on CD. Anyway, I was actually kinda surprised with this album. I expected mostly filler but for the most part it was pretty good, but really uneven. So I prefer The Division Bell, which stays good throughout. One Slip is an awesome song, I hope it goes far.

The A side is really good, One Slip is definitely a highlight. Side B is mostly filler but Yet Another Movie and Sorrow are among the best tracks of the album. This is a decent one.

I might have to give this one a listen again. From memory, there were only 2 or 3 songs I've ever liked from this album. We'll see if this has changed.
 
Sorrow is one of my alltime favourite Floyd songs. :notworthy:
Yet Another Movie is a very powerful second favourite from this album. I hope it'll makes the next round as well.
 
The few Gospel sections add an interesting touch. I could give a very detailed answer as to why I find Dark Side to be a rather gloomy record, but I find it hard to think that such a post wouldn't be a massive bore, so I think I'll avoid doing that. But I really do think of it that way and there's never a time where I find it to be happy.

I also love Run Like Hell. Not only does it have a great beat, but I love the chord changes. I love when Gilmour uses those upper voicings.

I also like Run Like Hell, but at this point it's hard to avoid voting for good songs. Except that now with The Division Bell in voting should be easier. I remember it's decent album, more balanced than AMLOR, but has only one clear highlight (High Hopes). I need to give this a relisten before I vote.
