I loved Brick, I was greatly entertained by The Brothers Bloom, and thought Looper was pretty awesome, despite some story flaws. I'm very happy with this news. I think this guy will prove himself with these movies and that means they'll probably have a bit of an edge, as Rian Johnson does not seem like a director who plays things safe.
Also, there are rumors that Harrison Ford's broken ankle/leg could take up to 5-6 months to completely heal before he returns to filming, which could push the release date into the middle of 2016 (probably May).

Maybe he should just be flying the Millenium Falcon all the time. But he should be having new rims and stuff put on it. Him and Chewie maybe should go flirting with chicks at the bar. Trying to feel young again.

I hope they add some grey to Chewie's coat. He'd be a Silver Fox (Bear?) getting all the action while Han sits at the bar unable to dance.
For once, Han will be the wingman.

The boxes of Star Wars toys in my parents' attic look better than that whole room.
I saw a pretty good Star Wars exhibition at the National Media Museum in Bradford a few years ago, it was well worth going to. They had loads of the original models used in the films, and the costumes were great.

That same exhibition toured through here ... it was very very cool. Well worth seeing if it is still out there

Not anymore. They'll have it covered up, now that this is out...
In the original script, the X-Wing accent colours were blue - this was changed to red because the X-Wing models were filmed on a blue screen. But I believe what you're seeing is a tarp.
