Official Star Trek Thread

I don't see the pictures. Check if they're shared for public

It's not on forum, it should be on your google drive if pictures are shared from there.

When I posted photos on the 100K posts thread last week I did not have to do that, yet Brigs & Brucie were able to see the photos. Did nothing different this time. Wonder if other members can see the ones on this ST thread?

I can't see any of these pictures.

It says we need to be signed into Google to see them. Do you have some sort of privacy setting on the pics?

I have no idea. When I go to Google for instructions on how to fix this, it only gives details on how to fix that for each picture ONE AT A TIME not how to find (much less change) the setting for the whole account.

I contributed in the sense that I ordered the Blu Ray.

One thing that looks super cool on that is the part where 5 of the main writers come back map out a story for Season 8 Episode 1 (which of course never happened) ...

Well, you're ordering it before it's done, lets them get more done. I might get the $50 package...my bonus comes in Thursday.

Yes, that looks really good. Most of the cast is there, the biggest exception being Avery Brooks. But he is a very, very odd individual, so it doesn't surprise me. The Captains are often the hardest to pin down, having generally become the most successful of each crew. There are, of course, exceptions - Jeri Ryan in Voyager was probably the most successful of that crew, and oddly enough Colm Meaney is probably the best known DS9 actor today in pop culture after some pretty big roles. Alexander Siddig had some neat stuff too.

Yeah .. I bought the $50 thing ... name in the credits and a poster seemed cool.

Looks like they will hit the make it a 90 minute documentary goal ... which is good ... hopefully between the blu ray and the online stuff there will be a decent amount of extra interview material.

In all these years I've never posted in this thread???!!!
I'm not the biggest fan out there, especially not compared to Loosey and Per but still!

Anyway, reason I'm posting is cos I'm on a rewatching of Voyager spree (that's the show I grew up with) and loving it! I've never watched DS9 so that's next after the Voyager marathon. Not a popular thing to say around here but I give zero effs: Janeway over Picard any day.

Also, I recently saw something about a new TV Star Trek coming in 2017 called 'Discovery' that will be set sometime after Enterprise but before the original series (so Loosey gets his wish?).

Damn right it's not popular.
You have 32 torpedoes and how you win? You launch 100. That's Voyager. Every plot device has been broken in order to accommodate her big balls. Voyager is an escort frigate, not a Scimitar class battleship or a Borg cube.
Btw. funny Borg. Gets two cubes insta-detonated by a suddenly too powerful Voyager, throws a few more at them...while having 20,000 near by, I won't even comment.

You already did.

I haven't followed this in any way, so the setting of the series is news to me. I still think I would have liked a series set between TOS and TNG. It would have meant a lot of research work to get the timeline right based on all the mentions in the subsequent series, but I always thought there was something you could do with Enterprise B and C.
