Currently watching the Brazil vs Norway game from 1998 as a warm-up for tonight and it is refreshing to see a full 45 minutes where nobody pretended to be hurt !

And in other World Cup news ... Folarin Balogun's suspension after the red card vs Bosnia has been changed to a suspended ban! You couldn't make this shit up. Infantino's FIFA is making up rules as we go. A "one year probation"? So that if the player does something wrong he can miss a Gold Cup qualifier rather than the World Cup round of 16?

Nyland was shouting at him the whole time before he took it, sounded like he was shouting 'hermano' over an over again, with vitriol. My guess is it was "hermana" as in 'sister' in Spanish in relation to the rumours thay Neymar sleeps with his sister. And I assume Nyland doesn't know the Portuguese for sister

Yah, I love when fans get taken in and loved because they're so much fun. A group of my mates (Ireland fans) went to a couple of Euros and the videos were phenomenal, the singing, the dancing in the street and as soon as a local heard their accents they joined the party "Oooh, you're Irish, let's drink." There's something special about a big football tournament, despite the fact that most of the actual football is pretty shit

Well that sucked monkey nuts. Best defensive team of the tournament and we make bonehead mistakes, practically gift wrapping the win. I'm glad they fought to the end, but they lacked creativity relying on the same predictable umbrella positioning. England just hunkered down.
