If City get banned too, the next two years might be the best chance for L'pool or Spurs to win the league (they won't this year as City will most likely crash out of CL before them and will concentrate on PL). Chelsea banned, City banned, United still recovering from Moutyranny.

United still recovering from Moutyranny.
Manchester United are still recovering from Alex Ferguson's departure. I don't think anyone should be surprised by how erratic they've been since he left. It was always going to take years to rebuild and bring the club back to the top. Fergie kept Manchester United at the top through sheer force of personality but his biggest mistake was not grooming a successor so that his retirement wouldn't leave such a big void.

This drama was brought to you by Barca and Ajax.

1-4

The 14th meeting between Real Madrid and Ajax, a 1-4 victory, and all that knowing that Johan Cruijff was the first one to score for Ajax against Real Madrid. ‬

Yeah, of course I take that yellow card on purpose. Who wants to be humiliated at home?

What an annoying game of football. Arsenal score from a shot De Gea saves 99 out of 100 times, and a soft penalty ... United hit the woodwork twice and Arsenal's goalkeeper has his best game of the season.

Fuck fuckety fuck.

Manchester City just had a goal reviewed (and approved) by VAR. The decision took a long time to come to which the BBC radio commentator was complaining about. His co-commentator, Pat Nevin, said that the reason it takes so long is because the people UEFA have looking at the footage (other referees I presume) don't have the technical ability or appropriate tools to make the decision efficiently. All UEFA need to do is speak to the TV companies who have been doing this for years (Sky, BT, ESPN etc.) about the software they use and the whole process will be so much faster.

Simeone shot himself in the foot today. Sitting back vs a team with 2 masters at heading in the box is a suicide. Add to that the Juve backline during set pieces.

Simeone sits back against everyone though, even the likes of Valladolid and Levante.
That's true, but Valladolid, Levante, Sociedad and the likes don't have CR7 and Manđukić in the box. Teams with quality poachers were always trouble for Atleti. Heck, even Real Madrid beat them 3-1 this year with their signature tactics of crossing, crossing and crossing.

The difference between this game and the Liga ones is that Simeone usually goes for a goal and then sits back for 70 minutes. Today he didn't.

I haven't watched a single football match this season. But I today I need to see when Bayern destroys Liverpool. I need a good laugh.
