Really an underrated album. Shows the heavier side of the band.

Avantasia - Anywhere

The first part of the song is a bit too long, but this is one of the most effective choruses in a metal ballad imo. Tobi! Classic from their 2nd album. :)

The album cover fits the style and music so well.

I rate the very first Avantasia album extremely high. As a parallel, think of something along the lines of Bruce’s The Chemical Wedding, only set in the power-metal universe. For me, even the second album was somewhat disappointing, and when Tobias changed his writing and sound on the later releases, the Avantasia project completely lost its magic. But that first album is great.

Huh, it just struck me that Tobias Sammet and Tobias Forge share the same first name.

ARP - Ghost Town

First single from a new album, the title track. The album will contain a song with Udo.
The vocals (Dio-esque) are a bit forceful, but overall it's an effective song with its riff, verses, working chorus, longer solo and melody. Solid work, good production.

He releases albums quite often and almost all of the covers are with dark colors. The packaging and the album cover are cool (it's AI...), the idea and to create an interesting world for the album.

As for Axel Rudi Pell… I like his Masquerade Ball album, and yes, his earlier records were more varied. But beyond that, this man—this band—is the true epitome of playing the same song and style over and over again, done to death and beyond. Even his album covers have the same vibe. Next to him, Maiden are true musical chameleons, constantly changing colors.
