Fuck my old boots, this song slaps so hard. The second half is worthy of Maiden and Priest. That’s the essence of what I love in music—that bittersweet epicness.
Great song. Chez Kane is an artist/band that sounds so classic 80s, love it. Glam metal at its best, vocals too. I should check all albums, a new favorite. The long harmony on this song is indeed great, pure highlight, best idea for the song and definitely worthy. A real gem! Adrian will like it for sure. You just can't beat harmonies (or longer instrumental parts).

@Kalata I get the impression that Ghost isn’t really your cup of tea. But overall, they’re definitely more metal than Chez Kane. Please give their instrumental “Miasma” from Prequelle a listen. For me, that song was a revelation. In terms of epicness, it’s in the same category as the track posted above. Pay attention to the build-up and then that incredibly rewarding second half—it’s immense. Even the sax fits perfectly. Crank it loud or use headphones—it absolutely rocks.

There’s also another instrumental on Prequelle, “Helvetesfönster.” It’s quieter and more thoughtful, but it’s great in its own way—a different kind of greatness.

Ghost’s Prequelle and Skeleta albums are fantastic melodic rock/metal records.
