It would have been perfect for the great theme of the album. This is one of those common examples in metal where one of the bonus songs for an album is awesome and definitely should have been on it. It's like a law. ''Eternal'' is a special song.
I'm still sad that Bruce didn't add at least one for the new album, like some of the other old bands do. It break the tradition. Especially with so much written material.
 
My favorites are Vicious Circle, Sons of Thunder and Gates of Hell.

The Serpent and the King is great but I don't like the chorus.
Crown of Thorns has the best guitar solo of the album (epic)
I like the Lodger but I dislike how it starts.
