I know that John Lennon wanted to do a version similar to this but was talked out of it by George and Paul.Could've been John's Yesterday. Love Deep Purple's 1968 version until the progressive rock stuff.

I really need to check out Black Sabbath's post Dio albums. I've only listened to the Ozzy and Dio albums (except Dehumanizar), and I can only really consider myself a Sabbath fan if I listen to their other albums.
Well, You're missing a lot of magnificent albums with pretty good stuff:

Born Again (1983) with Ian Gillan on vocals
The Seventh Star (1986) with Glenn Hughes on Vocals
The Eternal Idol (1987) with Tony Martin on Vocals
Headless Cross (1989) with Tony Martin on Vocals
TYR (1990) with Tony Martin on Vocals
Dehumanizer (1992) with DIO on Vocals
Cross Purposes (1994) with Tony Martin on Vocals
Forbidden (Is the worst Sabbath album) (1995) with Tony Martin on Vocals

Still listening to this one. Not a fan of the video though. Find it a bit cringe worthy:)
One time I listened to that song: I've only listened to a few seconds of it and turned it off. Not only does it not seem like a good song, but it's not really a actual song; they took demo tapes from Lennon in the 70s and from George Harrison in the 90s, and then Mccartney and Starr recorded their parts in modern times. Also, although AI was used to try to make the lennon and harrison tapes fit into the quality of modern production, you can easily tell how out of place it is.
