NOW PLAYING

Now that's a great album cover although it reminds me of Blind Guardian.
"Although"? >:(

Also, the Blind Guardian dude alway reminded me of the Keeper of the Seven Keys guy.

Probably not too much a coincidence considering their shared history. Speaking of which, I just searched for Blind Guardian appearances in Gamma Ray stuff, and I now feel like an idiot for not realizing it's Hansi co-singing in Farewell. I always assumed it's Kai somehow making his voice grittier...:facepalm::facepalm:

...and that completes my out-of-order tour of Walkyier-era Skyclad. The music on the early stuff is good, but I still think Walkyier's rough performance actually holds things back until Prince Of The Poverty Line in 1994.

Martin’s vocals in the early days are an acquired taste. I agree things became more interesting when he started singing more melodically.

Either way, a great band that deserved to be more successful.

Did you deliberately skip the We Aven't Got A Chance album or I just didn't see it in the thread?
Edit: Oh yes, I hadn't seen it.

I still think the first two are the best.
