Say what you want but my respect for Todd increased alot, he shines on this one! They stayed very true to the original. Great album too. Think I´m going to give it a spin again this weekend.
I don't know if I've already written this here or on Mark Prindle's Facebook, but
The lyrics don't fit, but
1. it has THE perfect riff,
2. it is THE aural equivalent to being a biker, going to a meeting, not having a shower for a week, knocking back 20 beers or so in one go and throwing old crankshafts and engines for sport to impress the resident biker chick with a husky rasp, slightly aged and raddled, but still popular.
Now, that's not necessarily something I'd like to do, generally, but it's nice to have the opportunity to enjoy it vicariously through a song.
