yeah, nice memories to me too.
Yeah I remember watch the Be quick or be dead videoclip in a 30 min. videoclips tv show at 7am just before to go to the Highschool. I was shocked. I was read a couple of articles in Metal Hammer a few months before the release of the album. Bruce said that it was the most aggressive and best Maiden album to date. So the hype at he moment was very high. When I bought the album the same day the guy of the vynil shop said to me: It's a double gatefold vynil album. I said Whaaaat??? I listened a lot of times and It was the last Maiden album that when I listen at first time you've got it. It wasn't the same since then. And I remember listening to a class mate said that he watched people out in the streets waiting to buy the album in London shops.I remember I made my confirmation the day before it was released. In Ireland when you make your communion and confirmation you go around to all your relatives and they give you money. And in our school the tradition was you got a half day in school on the Monday after it and all the kids would go into town with their money. I remember seeing the new release Fear of the Dark and I just refused to buy it because you could get Flick of the Switch for half the price I let my mate buy it and then copied the tape.
@The_7th_one @GhostofCain guys do you know these fine gentlemen? Highly recommended
Especially this album!

3/5 at best, but it brings me great memories!
Bruce seems to have been very enthusiastic during this period (strangely a year after that he left). Energetic, powerful and very meldoic, yes, but aggressive - only the opener. The number of songs was surprising at the time.Bruce said that it was the most aggressive and best Maiden album to date.
My absolute favourite album of them! Not a weak song on it! Really great bass.
I find this a lot easier to get into than a lot of other old prog stuff. My absolute favourite album of them! Not a weak song on it! Really great bass.
