NOW PLAYING

The album from 1981 is their most heavy metal one, although I've always viewed them as a hard rock band. For me this is their second best album (it's better than Hysteria and if the last song on the album was different it would have tied with Pyromania for the 1st spot) with gold classics such as ''Let It Go'', ''Another Hit And Run'', ''Bringin' On The Heartbreak'', ''Lady Strange'', ''Mirror, Mirror (Look Into My Eyes)'' and the instrumental ''Switch 625''. The other songs are very good too. If you want riffs, this is the album for you. :rocker:

I think they should have re-recorded ''Ride Into The Sun'' (from their debut EP) for this album.
It's my favorite from them followed by Pyromania. Agree with you the songs you mentioned. Mirror Mirror being my fave. Ride Into The Sun?First heard that song after buying Retroactive. Love it:)

Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction
It's funny how you forget how weird a song is when you get used to it. Now after some time I could realize again how chaotic this song is. So many chills...

Meshuggah - Marrow
One of my favourite Meshuggah songs! Somebody wrote in the comments of Deconstruction about how similar the solos of both songs are.

EZO - House of a 1,000 Pleasures

(My son bought himself a turntable so I loaned him my EZO debut lp; we'll see what he thinks)
