I had no idea about this

Yeah, there was an offhand comment about it in Chris Dale’s Inside The Skunkworks Machine book, so I checked it out. It really is just a slightly slower version of “Headswitch” that they’d fully recorded the music for during the Skunkworks sessions, and later on they invited Doogie White to put a vocal on it just for the hell of it.
