Now Playing (Video Games)

So like half the planet I've also been playing Silksong. I'm struggling with it. On one hand I like it, on the other I find Hornet's move set very frustrating. I don't like the diagonal downward strike in particular. But still trudging through and overall it's fine so far.

I've spent much more time playing Blasphemous II. Now THIS game, I LOVE. I stayed away from it for the longest time thinking it was going to be harder than the first and I didn't quite get the choosing your initial weapon. Turns out you get all three anyway pretty quickly and for whatever reason it feels easier than the first ever did. I played the first one like 4 or 5 times and some bosses were a slog every single time. But with this game, I figure out the patterns fairly quickly and then it's just a matter of chipping away at them. I've only looked up a tutorial once so far. I'm collecting the doves at this point, have 26 of the 33 angels from the tower, all rosary beads, etc. So this one has been my jam the past few days.
 
Probably not In keeping with the usual stuff on this thread , but with my whole getting old and looking backwards thing, i`m going to a retro old school arcade game bar in a week or so hopefully. It has table top and stand up arcade games from decades ago to play and have a drink and a bite to eat, looks great fun.

Games like Asteroids, Pole Position, Out Run, Space Invaders ,Street Fighter etc.
