Excellent Italian food. :) No seriously, some of this stuff is to die for...like...a grilled assortment of sea food, pasta with lobster, tiramisu, grilled sole, sirloin steak with rosemary, pigeon...

Yes we all know that Natalie... let's talk about Austrian food now...

A English food critic once said - "The best thing to follow a tiramisu - is a tiramisu." I'll not argue with that. :D

Hehe, no me neither, Albie.

JackKnife...the only good thing about Austrian cuisine is Wiener Schnitzel and Sacher Torte...

Curled octopus

The return of the seafood from hell...today's recipe:

Octopus à la Genoese

You'll need:
3 cloves of garlic, 150 g of onions, 100 g of black olives, 150 g of mushrooms, thyme, rosemary,  3 spoons of concentrate tomatoes and 1 Kg of octopus.

Nota Bene: This recipe is illustrated by pictures of my own experiment. I used an interesting species of octopus, namely Eledone cirrhosa aka curled or hornet octopus.

A close species Eledone moschata (Musky octopus) can be encountered in the Mediterranean sea.
Funnily, these species have only one rank of suckers, which is a huge difference with the common octopus (O. vulgaris).
