No Prayer On The Road: The Dissection

Not a very good album (two standout tracks though) and the tour doesn't seem to be the most memorable. That said, this is a great performance:
 
The band was (sort of) re-energized with the addition of Janick and the energy onstage was just phenomenal on that tour.
Not in a good way. Janick was just running around making noise. Reminds me of KISS in the 80s when they took the makeup off and did a bunch of crap albums and tried to disguise it by running around a lot.

Janick's solos on his first tour with the band were chaotic, yeah. But it was different after it. The energy was great. NPOTR is the 90's tour with the best performances. And the setlist was nice and interesting, more so than on the next tours. They preferred Holy Smoke and Hooks In You over Run Silent Run Deep! Prowler would have been fitting for the tour.
I wish all songs had backdrops, it would have compensate the stage. They looked massive. Better than for the next lazy tour stage.
