So, after listening carefully to the whole discography, I have finally decided to join - only to realise I have absolutely no idea how to vote. I made the setlist out of these… and I still don’t know, however I must say that’s some pretty damn good setlist. :D However I'll do my best to pick at least three songs until tomorrow.

Still don't understand how The Islander and Alpenglow got eliminated, though.

After careful consideration, I have decided to vote for (or against) these:

10th Man Down
Beauty of the Beast
Ghost Love Score
Ghost River

even though I like them - it's just that I have to pick the least favourite ones. This is much tougher to me than the Maiden survivor, TBH.
And since these have otherwise zero votes overall (except for 10th Man), I haven't helped at all. :D

I could do the same for the three votes for Gethsemane :D

These are, IMHO, their weakest and least memorable epics, sorry. Still good, though, as I've stressed quite enough :p

This reminds me of the time I told my Dream Theater-loving friend that Awake is overblown, overlong, brooding piece of sh*t, pompous even for DT standards, full of boy-bandish choruses (Innocence Faded, Caught in a Web) and half-assed ballads (The Silent Man, Lifting Shadows Off a Dream) and that Moore creepiness in the end that really even sounds to me like watching a stalker masturbate. Poor guy seemed to have something like a heart attack. :D
I have since come to like the album quite a lot, but the friendship never quite recovered.

Then again, you let The Islander and Alpenglow be eliminated. :p

Voted, although my selections change nothing!

I love Dream Theater, but this describes a lot of their work. It got even worse when Portnoy started writing angry little boy/tuf guy lyrics and hour-long suites about alcoholism.

But I'm never gonna hear Space-Dye Vest the same way again...

Yours is an empty Song and Weak Song are much, much worse than the ones I vote for, but since no one else is of that opinion, attacks on beautiful old work like Gethsemane needs to be opposed in another way:
FantasMic, Planet, Last Ride, Edema Ruh
+ 1
