I don't really understand myself right now. I'm not really looking forward to his autobiography.

Same here, but I do understand myself though. I have never found Nicko to be particularly funny, so I do not feel the need to read his autobiography when there are so many interesting books to read instead.

I used to love his Listen With Nickos back in the day, but they're a little brutal these days. As if the over-the-top John Cleese-in-Monty-Python-mode didn't get overbearing, the jokes and stereotyped accent impressions have certainly not aged well. You can say "eh, it was the '80s," and call it good, but a lot of the jokes weren't terribly funny even then.
