More to meet the eye....

I dont know but check this out!!!

All the pictures posted so far is fan art.  Nobody seems to know if we're going to see Megs in this one.

I hope not, leave him at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. They need to go with the angle that Starscream will be the leader of the Decepticons from here on out.... and make him back into an F-15 (who cares if kids don't know what one of those are).

I'd agree with that!!

ok, stupid question, but where does 'Galvatron' fit into things?  I don't remember him from the original cartoon/comics, but after the animated feature, where Prime and Megatron are offed, Galvatron shows up and takes over out of no where.

Unicron sucks up a defeated Megatron and turns him into Galvatron..... in so many words....

Ah.  Is that what happened to Maximus Prime?  What a weird set up.

Yeah, let starscream lead them!  He did fine for thousands of years while old Meggy was burried under the ice.

... and he's got an infinitely better personality. Well, ..... at least before the last movie he did.

if the posters are correct Warner Bro won that fight.

Actually, the court held that Fox had copyrights in the Watchmen film, but that simply led to a settlement.  The movie is still going to be released in March, by Warner Bros.

They had a trailer for the new Transformers movie during the Super Bowl.  If you missed it, you can probably see it on Hulu.com, which has all the Super Bowl commercials, supposedly. {EDIT: Never mind, just use LC's link, above.}

It could be Devastator.  However, rumor has it that it could be:

The Fallen-- which I believe was one of the first 13 transformers, and is supposedly who this movie is about.. tho rumors could be wrong.

I don't have high hopes for this film, I absolutely hated the focus on humans in the last film and naturally Michael Bay had to mess it up.
My biggest hates about the first film:
-Too much human focus, I don't care about poorly-written, teen-comedy bullshit, I care about Optimus Prime and Megatron taking each other on to "The Touch". This is also a pet-peeve of mine about nearly all American Cinema and TV, why does everything, literally everything have to have a moral to the story? Can't we just have a to-the-point action film with no "don't do this or bad things happen" plots/lines?
-Annoying camera use in the fight-scenes, I hate "realistic rookie footage" shots, whats the point in making such pretty CGI images when we can't see anything because the camera is too busy shaking everywhere? I don't give one about realism in camera shots, its not like I always imagined there was a rookie camera man following Luke Skywalker around and I always wondered why he had a steady hand even in the most dramatic explosions.
-Really bad use of voices, especially during the action sequences, why have robots say cool lines while fighting each other when I can't hear them because they are distorted against generic-battle noises, sound effects, etc? Again with the unecessary realism which ruins an aspect of the film.

If realism mattered so much, how come nearly all the women in these films are smoking hot? I wish this was realistic.

As such, I expect the next film to be the same again. I'll just stick to the 1986 film, cheesy 80s US metal, deaths of many Autobots and Decepticons, Vince DiCola soundtrack, one swear word and Unicron makes this the worst best animated film for children ever.

I want to see it.  I agree with all your criticisms.  I still want to see the movie.

I don't. I like morality tales, in fact what I hate about american cinema is that most movies DON'T have one and are nothing but mindless action movies... Nothing Wrong with that, Commando is AMAZING :D
