Agreed. Rating, say, Death Magnetic and Reload songs (the same goes for: TNOTB/AMOLAD; Sin After Sin/Painkiller; Awake/ADTOE; Walls of Jericho/Gambling With The Devil; The Book of Taliesyn/Now What?!; Operation: Mindcrime/ Hear in the Bow Frontier...the list goes on) at the same time is pointless because the bands who have created them have evolved so much -in terms of line-up sometimes, but especially as musicians, persons and professionals of the music industry- that they are just different bands altogether. This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say grading system is pointless.
But it is!If I went round saying "Where the Wild Things Are" is better than "Fight Fire With Fire", they'd put me away!
Because I really like Prince Charming and I don’t really like All Nightmare Long. All Nightmare Long a 4/10 is an utter joke.
How can someone give Prince Charming a 9 and All Nightmare Long a 4?
Wrong!Because I really like Prince Charming and I don’t really like All Nightmare Long.
Okay but like... this is my opinion and you don’t have to agree with it. “Prince Charming” makes me feel happy, and while that’s not necessarily proof that something is good, it helps out. I really, really like that song. “All Nightmare Long” just feels like Metallica going through the motions. You could probably say the same for “Prince Charming”, but personally I like it way more.Wrong!
My thoughts on KEA should’ve been proof.
There is no such thing and never will be. "Disposable Heroes" is about as perfect a song as you can get.more improved version of 'Disposable Heroes'.
Oof.I was very much with you on your KEA opinion and though I do not love DM as a whole, this is where our judgments part ways.
...This was bad. Hopefully you'll redeem yourself before Hardwired because I'm really not excited about seeing below 6 on that album.
That'll just depend on if you like Lulu or not.Hopefully you'll redeem yourself
You're correct, I forgot about that one. I find the rest of the album very appealing, even the "weaker" B-side, aside from maybe Hardwired.Oh, "Murder One" is definitely below a six. Few tens though, easy.
Never heard it, mostly because of how terrible people say it is... Maybe one dayThat'll just depend on if you like Lulu or not.
