2 songs and i think he tried to sound like the first albums and 90s albums. A bit boring those songs

Is out? Tomorrow ill listen it. But the 3 songs reminds me 90s album but a bad copy of the sound. But its the last mustaine workGave the whole album a quick listen right now. I mean... yeah. IMO it's quite consistent yet lacks ambition. And that's Ok: by now Mustaine has nothing else to prove. No doubt it would be really cool if the band's last chapter was a banger. Yet this plays save as save can be when it comes to composition and balancing heavier parts with more accessible ones within each song. Overall this is a record composed of short tunes and the structures are really simple. Yet, unlike its predecessor, there's not a single "yuck!" moment - like Celebutant or Junkie. But, on the other hand, there's also nothing that IMO comes even close to tracks like The Sick, The Dying And The Dead, Life In Hell, We'll Be Back or Dogs Of Chernobyl. It seems to be a fun album, little more than that. One I guess I'll only give a couple of spins before shelving it.
True. Also he had cancer. I just read a review and they give a 10/10. Its not even close to 7/10.Megadeth probably should have hired a singer 15 years ago. His voice was worsening and sounds worse than ever before in the new album, especially in the Puppet Parade track.
Yeah lucky that both him and Bruce were able to overcome it.True. Also he had cancer. I just read a review and they give a 10/10. Its not even close to 7/10.
It ends with “The Last Note”. “Ride The Lightning” is a bonus track. So the last Megadeth record ends with Ride the Lightning. Sounds like a bad joke but it's true. Why Dave, why.
Last note a good song but weird lyrics and ride the lightning nothing more than a copy of the songIt ends with “The Last Note”. “Ride The Lightning” is a bonus track.

Do Japanese edition CDs “really end” with whatever bonus tracks are tacked on? No, of course not.Yes, so it really ends with Ride the Lightning.
Their last written song for sure.Do Japanese edition CDs “really end” with whatever bonus tracks are tacked on? No, of course not.
Megadeth ends with the last bit of non-bonus material. And the lyrics of “The Last Note” make it very clear that it’s the band’s final statement.
Yes,not one of their best but for sure not of their worst.I actually like the album quite a bit, and it’s cool to see Dave writing “fun” and less serious songs like I Don’t Care and the hilarious Let There Be Shred. The album dips a bit with tracks 6-8, and the Metallica cover is truly pointless, but overall I think it’s stronger than most of their 2000s material.
I Am War is my favorite track at the moment. I really like the feel of it.
