There's a new round when a new survivor gets posted. It's kind of hard to explain. I eliminated songs that got a lot of votes. usually ones that had received 60% or more.
 
Some of the different Megadave songs are great. 'In My Darkest Hour' is fantastic for example. I'm not too keen on those two songs in particular though (and I prefer the more recent version of 'A Tout Le Monde').

I couldn't say which I prefer, but I do enjoy the more recent version, and it's rare I find others who agree :)

IMDH is Megadeth's best song, imo.
 
I also enjoy the more recent one! I'm shocked to see that 2 other people like it, seems everyone hates it. I find myself singing the backing vocals during the verses whenever I hear it and then I realize, "wait, those weren't even in the original song!"
 
The songs I voted for aren't bad, far from it, I just like them less than the songs that I didn't vote for. And by the way, I can see why you like Rust In Peace and I respect your opinion.

Countdown To Extinction

It's really come to a point where all of the songs are at least very solid/have no inherent flaws and you're just sticking up for your favourites. Seems that Holy Wars is the most likely to win it all.
 
I went with Countdown to Extinction myself, but all three of these tracks are all pretty firmly cemented in the Megadeth classics category. It's quite a hard choice at this point in the game.

I guess my ideal ranking would be this:
1: Hangar 18
2: In My Darkest Hour
3: Peace Sells
4: Holy Wars
5: Tornado Of Souls
6: Wake Up Dead
7: A Tout Le Monde
8: Trust
9: Countdown To Extinction
