Maiden songs you find rather boring

I heavily disagree. Both of those songs, especially live, are clear 10/10s in my opinion. Anthems to sing along to, filled to the brim with amazing melodies. Not a single wasted second on either of them.

You don’t think the repeat repeat repeat chorus of No More Lies is a bit excessive? Not quite Angel & The Gambler level, but still …

I guess The Apparition. The only one probably. Prodigal Son, The Man Of Sorrows, The Man Who Would Be King? Maybe.

Not at all, especially the live version where Bruce varies the melody. The chorus itself doesn't get repeated that often throughout the song. The "chanting the same line over and over again" style of chorus is something Maiden have been doing since the 80s. Children Of The Damned, Caught Somewhere In Time, SSOASS. Hell, Fear Of The Dark has a section dedicated to chanting the title.

Also, No More Lies is one of the very few post-reunion songs that sees all three guitarists trade off solos one after another. That's freaking awesome.

The Parchment
Paschendale
Fortunes of War
Senjutsu
Man of Sorrows

Tears of a Clown bores me to tears.
I know it's supposed to be semi-emotional, but opting to make it a plodding mid-tempo rocker baffles me to this day. Would've been much improved as an acoustic track. But yeah, as is the song does nothing for me, so I'd rank it as a bit boring as well.

Wasting Love is saved by Gers´ best solo and the clean guitar picking. Not among my favourites but definitely not among my least liked either. A good song nevertheless.

I've ragged on it before, but a frustratingly boring song for me is The Man Who Would Be King, because there's some really good potential there but it really didn't need to be an epic. It's one of the rare times where I agree a Maiden song is too long and has an unnecessary long intro/outro, it should've been a shorter, more energic song to break up some of the monotony of the second half of TFF.
