Maiden England Tour 2012/2013!

Not to burst the bubble, but Deja-Vu and ATG have never been played live, from what I can recall, and the Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner only once, on the very first date of the Somewhere on Tour tour. It's wishful thinking, but we probably have a better chance of Maiden dueting with Lady Gaga or somebody. Ah, the cruelty of life.

I wouldn't actually bet against it. The Prisoner is more likely to be played, but Children of the Damned is a fan favourite, so never say no. I never got to see any of the Beast 25th Anniversary Tour they incorporated into the Matter of Life and Death 2007 leg (didn't start listening heavily to Maiden until 2010, can't believe I wasted my life up until then), but I know a friend who did; they were disappointed that Chidlren of teh Damned was the only rarity played from the album alongside the traditional staples. I would happily settle for all six Beast tracks (Hills, Hallowed, Beast, Children, Prisoner, Acacia) in a solid set, but The Prisoner is the most likely this time round.

The Prisoner has already been comfirmed same with 7th son of a 7th son
 
I'm really starting to believe that they WILL play Die With Your Boots On this set. After all, it is 2012 and it is a big "The End is Near" type of thing (even though it's a bunch of garbage). However, with that in mind, I feel like this would be a perfect opportunity to play Die With Your Boots On since that is what the song is about. What do you all think of that?
 
Any wild , off-the-wall chance that since the tour starts in CHARLOTTE they might play 22 Acacia Avenue ( the continuing adventures of CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT) or , even wilder, play CHARLOTTE THE HARLOT on the opening night in CHARLOTTE??? Not a chance?? Nobody has a sense of humor or imagination anymore?? I got great seats for this show and I would probably shit my pants if they played Charlotte or pee a little bit if they played 22.

No doubt 22 Acacia is a better song but when was the last time they played CHARLOTTE in Charlotte? I could see Bruce making some funny introduction for it and the Charlotte people loving it up. Come on, somebody get on the phone with the boys and tell them my idea.
 
I would find it extremely unlikley for them to play it. They tried it a few dates on the Early Days tour but dropped it because Bruce's voice wasn't suited to it.
 
Lol I had a dream today in which it was 22nd of June and the setlist was here, and that they had played 22, Flight of Icarus and another one I can't remember, and at the end of the concert by petition of the fans they played only the solo of Alexander the Great lol then I knew it was a dream
 
Yeah, we only have four more days before the first gig... are we going to discuss everything in this topic? Or create a brand new one for concert discussions only?

I ask this mainly because I will be eager to find out what the set list is. Is anyone here going to the first show? Or what exactly would be the best way to stay tuned for the set list that night?
 
The last tour, setlist.fm was updated as the concert progressed. That was kind of fun, sitting on the page during the first gig and seeing a new song on there every 10 minutes as I refresh the page.
