Charlotte is against a b-side, as is The Duellists.
So you can't do it without b-sides unless you change the battle order and/or unless you accept to have incomplete albums.
I am well aware of this Foro. This is why 'Powerslave' lost one point when I calculated the result without b-sides but the debut lost three.

I was tempted to vote for "Transylvania", but then I remembered how underrated "Back In the Village" actually is and I'd feel bad if I didn't support it.

6-5 for Powerslave.

I'm very surprised at how close Back in the Village is to Transylvania. Village is by far the worst Powerslave song (not counting the b-sides); Transylvania is second only to Phantom on the debut.

Prowler vs Aces High ( Prowler is a very, very good song but vs Aces High...sorry)
Remember Tomorrow vs 2 Minutes to Midnight (almost the same as above, I really like Remember Tomorrow but vs 2 Minutes...sorry again)
Running Free vs Losfer Words (neither are great songs but the studio version of Running Free is really boring and lifeless)
Phantom of the Opera vs Flash of the Blade
Burning Ambition vs The Duellists (I always thought The Duellists to be one of the most underrrated tracks specially that long instrumental part that is awesome)
Transylvania vs Back in the Village
Strange World vs Powerslave (sorry again part III...I might be in the minority here but I really love Strange World but once again no chance when it's against a Top 15 Maiden song imo)
Sanctuary vs King of Twilight (Sanctuary is one of their most boring songs imo and even if I can't say I'm a fan of King of Twilight, between the two, I'd take the cover)
Charlotte the Harlot vs Rainbow's Gold
Women in Uniform vs Mission From 'Arry (just because a choice has to be made, Mission is funny but still not a song...Women in uniform is at least a song with music...but that's it, boring and repetitive)
Iron Maiden vs Rime of the Ancient Mariner

9-2 for Powerslave

Although it is up against Rime, the lack of enthusiasm for Iron Maiden is telling. Heard it too much?
I never understood all the hype for Iron Maiden, I mean its just a very simplistic riff, the same verse repeated, the instrumental part is just a few seconds long, no real solos and the drumming is so repetitive...why they keep on playing it (well apart from the fact that this is where Eddie appears, it's the last song before the encore etc.) is beyond me

6-5 to Iron Maiden. Again, the album I rank higher loses out. Love the debut though so no problem there. All Hail the Di'Anno Era.

I almost see 'Iron Maiden' as a non-song, if that makes sense. It has its exulted place and I am fine with that but I kind of see if just as a part of their stage show/craft; it will always be there, I enjoy it live but I never seek it out as a song and often skip it on live albums. Certainly not a bad song and its very fun but, its an oddity, for me.
Voted for Aces and 2 Mins. Prowler and Remember Tomorrow are both class and can count themselves unfortunate.

The Live After Death version of "Iron Maiden" is my favorite thing this band's ever released ("Rime..." is the second). The studio version, however, is dull and lifeless, thus "Rime..." got my vote.

OK, so I called out Mission From 'Arry voters as trolls the last time, but now I'm doing this. :P I just don't like Women in Uniform and let's say I appreciate MFA for comedic value.

Prowler vs Aces High
Remember Tomorrow vs 2 Minutes to Midnight
Running Free vs Losfer Words
Phantom of the Opera vs Flash of the Blade
Burning Ambition vs The Duellists
Transylvania vs Back in the Village
Strange World vs Powerslave
Sanctuary vs King of Twilight
Charlotte the Harlot vs Rainbow's Gold
Women in Uniform vs Mission From 'Arry
Iron Maiden vs Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Once again, the B sides slow, but cannot stop the Powerslave juggernaut. It beats the debut 6-5 and earns top seed in pool A
Up next, Killers versus Somewhere in Time. :help2:

Ides of March vs Caught Somewhere in Time
Wrathchild vs Wasted Years
Murders in the Rue Morgue
vs Sea of Madness
Another Life vs Heaven Can Wait
Genghis Khan
vs Reach Out
Innocent Exile vs The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Killers vs Stranger in a Strange Land
Twilight Zone vs Deja Vu
Prodigal Son
vs That Girl
Purgatory vs Juanita
Drifter vs Alexander the Great

7-4 to 'Somewhere in Time', but three of the 'Killers' votes were against b-sides. I do like 'Wrathchild', 'Killers' and 'Drifter' a lot though.
