That leaves me no choice then. Yeah, I'm the cop, I'm surprised no one picked it up when Mosh said that few pages earlier :P RTC is Mafia. I planned on revealing this after next night passes (because revealing it now will probably result in my murder and we don't have a Doctor that can heal me<_<, hence I won't be able to get them all). Alas... yep.

How do we know you're the cop? Who have you asked about each night? What answers did you get?
 
Since there were only two nights, I only asked about <redacted> (Town) and RTC (Mafia). I could reveal the first person, but then he or she would be made an easy target for the Mafia... gotta decide whether to do that or not.
 
You said you had "almost" figured out all 3 mafia. Other than guessing RTC, what else had you done to identify anyone else?

Also, makes no sense that you won't identify the known townie: the mafia knows us all, anyway, so the only people you'd be informing and helping would be the other townsfolk. If you want the townsfolk to win, you'd let us know who one of us is.

I find this defense suspicious and unpersuasive. Can you do better?

Presumably the real cop would know that NP is lying, if he is. May not make sense to speak up yet if you're the cop, but if you have identified even one other mafia, that would, including NP, give the townsfolk 2 out of 3 known, which is a big advantage.

I'm reserving judgment for the time being until I see others' reactions, but these are what I think are the only two possible scenarios:

1) NP is the cop, in which case we should definitely hang RTC, and probably Perun and mckindog too.
2) NP is mafia, in which case I believe Perun and think that Brigs is mafia too.

Either way, NP's "reveal" is valuable info. Wanted to lay this all out now in case I'm killed tonight. Welcome others' thoughts.
 
I've really got nothing to lose. I know I'm the cop. If you don't lynch me, Mafia will kill me over night anyway, unless Travis is allowed to come back and wants to heal me. I think I figured out the other two, but I'll be able to confirm at least one more if I don't get lynched now :)
 
I'm voting no. It's idiotic and a last resort to reveal yourself as the cop, so I have no choice but to believe NP. No one else has said anything to prove he's lying, and you know, Barlow...
 
What a bold move! But is it one an innocent man would make?
if Np survives this, he will likely die tonight. If he survives this and tonight he's probably going to get lynched tomorrow.

If NP is lying, the real cop obviously knows.
But how can he let the rest of know without exposing himself/herself?

I need to hear Perun's response too.
 
I voted no. But he's already dead. Revealing yourself as the cop is not a good idea, the mafia will probably kill him.
 
I'm going to have to vote 'no' here, it's too much of a gamble.

If NP is lying, then the real cop will know he's Mafia. That gives the cop a chance to go after another suspect tonight, and potentially have two out of three Mafia identified by tomorrow.

For the record, I've investigated Cornfed N1 and Ariana N2.
 
lol. You do know that if I was to get killed now, you're going next 100% for pretending to be a cop? Because you're not the cop. It's clearly a stunt you're trying to perform to try and save your Mafia buddies from getting discovered by me :p

I voted "no" by the way, it didn't work for Mosh so don't want bad luck from clicking "yes", even as a stunt :p

I'm inclined to vote no too. I could, however, foresee that the mafia may want to foment uncertainty for one more day by not immediately killing NP if he's the cop.

I recommend the following course of action:

1. We spare NP today.
2. If NP survives the night, he can disclose the results of his investigation. If he is murdered, it confirms he was the cop.
3. Either way, we lynch RTC tomorrow.
4a. If RTC is revealed as townsfolk, we kill NP immediately (if he's not already dead) and the real cop should continue to investigate.
4b. If RTC is confirmed as mafia, we can assume that NP is indeed the cop. (He may not last long after that, assuming he even makes it that far.) the next day, we lynch either Perun or anyone confirmed by NP to be mafia.

Sounds very reasonable. Unless of course you're Mafia and this is your master scheme to eliminate two-three people while looking like a level-headed civilian...
