:yey:Finally, someone else on the forum who likes Coheed (even if you were drubl)

I've got most their stuff, but the only album I listen to on a reasonably regular basis is Apollo Vol 1 - Welcome Home makes it into most my metal playlists though. Never found them to be bad, but they lack something to make them awesome!

Robert Plant released a new album some days ago. It's a good record, it's not hard rock per se but it is highly enjoyable music with diverse flavours. I am bloody happy that me kids are exposed such interesting musical diversity.
:smartarse:

Their singer is like Geddy that way, a lot of people have a bad reaction to the vocals. I've found that playing a whole Coheed album, I get used to it by the end ... but it definitely takes a while.

Tried two Coheed albums, plus the live concert. Still didn't work for me. :p The Geddy comparison is fair though.

I think the biggest issue is that while the instrumental stuff is good, it doesn't really grab me and make me want to listen to the music in spite of the vocals. The way Rush did when I was still getting used to Geddy.
