This is cutting edge, and then some photography.
The size of the area being covered and the high quality of the imagery are beyond incredible!
What a breakthrough!!!!
This imagery is being taken from 17,500 feet up.
That is roughly equal to 3-1/2 miles.
Objects as small as 6" can be seen.
Impressive!

Went to my first Metallica gig yesterday. It kicked ass. Had the perfect spot(pretty up front, optimal distance from the main PA array.

Broadcast (although they cut Seek and Destroy). The show starts around 1 h 50 minutes in.

What struck me was how visually impressive Metallica were. They felt in a way, grander than Maiden. Maiden has props and stuff like that, while Metallica has a simplistic yet spectacular stage design, with out of the world lighting. And let's not even get talking about the utterly massive LED-screens...
