Back to work for me. Not exactly thrilled about it (is anyone really thrilled about going back to work after a nice long vacation?) but all good things come to an end eventually. I will once again become the ghost who randomly pops on here during the day only to mysteriously disappear just as quickly as I came on and come back on at night trying to catch up on the days events. Curse you work, curse you! Anyway, I'll stop my not-quite-drunk-but-tipsy ramblings.

Oh no! Not cool!I don't know how or why but I keep thinking it's Tuesday today and this has totally fucked up my job. And I only realised it at the end of my working day. Are you sure the apocalypse is not scheduled for today?

Interesting enough, the apocalypse was scheduled for today. I think at 12pm Greenwich time. However, it was bid out on a gov't contract, which got held up in appropriations. Due to the funding issue and a lack of good, quality coffee, which was needed to be drank to stay awake long enough to read through the entire bill, no one ever approved it, so it's been put on hold until further notice. So, now, the apocalypse is in a gov't holding pattern.

I had a Monday feeling as well as I walked to work this morning. However, when my subconcious started to realize it was actually Wednesday, I'm starting to really like this week
I even managed to be rather efficient at work. Can't always say that for the first day after holiday!

It's a nice thought that I only have 3 work days this week but still sucks having to come back and get caught up.

I have to get my days right for the rest of the week. On Saturday I'm going back to Birmingham and classes start again on Monday. Getting confused with the days would be silly!
