A good student is addicted to coffee. In fact, the blood rate in my caffeine is alarming.

Got three exams coming up in early February and one paper due in- May, I think. But given the level of difficulty, it's not too early to prepare.

For the record, first chapter of M. Boyce, A History Of Zoroastrianism (Vol. I) done. Coming up: Chapter Two, "The Gods Of Pagan Iran". Highly interesting stuff, but not for novices to the subject.

A 'novice to the subject' would include me....

however, I do love my coffee!!!  I had to 'keep up with the joneses': my brother has a coffee grinder, so I had to get one.  yummy!

I love my coffee as well - but, believe it or not, I only drink the stuff about four or five times a year.

Driving to work today, I was sipping my coffee, listening to Chemical Wedding, and thinking to myself "Am I heretical?  I think I am more of a Dickenson fan than a Maiden fan."  -- is that just wrong of me?  God, I hope that doesn't get me suspended... :innocent:

I had that same thought when discovering Chemical Wedding around ...2004 I think

Chemical Wedding is a great album, but it would only just creep into the top three or four when up against Maiden.

Very true. After I re-read my post, I sat back and thought - yeap, not bad at all. :D

So I stopped in the Maid-Rite diner to get a burger and fries for lunch.  I haven't been there  in years (and the price of a burger and fries at $8 is why!), but it sounded good and different.  If you haven't seen one, it has the 'style' of a 50's era diner, and a pretty decent burger.  It came with all the trimmings, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles.  All are on 'the side', so when I sat down, I put all on my burger, with some mustard (yum), and took a bite.  I was at that point suprised, cause I was expecting a dill pickle, and it was sweet-- what a suprise!

Anyway, not a bad lunch....

For fast food here, it's going to cost me about $6.50 after taxes for a McD's meal, so that's not too bad at all really.

That's not too bad.  I can get a quarterpounder meal for around $5.

Yeah, I guess the difference is in sales tax really.  How much tax is there in IL?
