Not very BBC, is it? Still, I watched that Panorama documentary of which that was a snippet of. Quite interesting how they (the Scientologist) stalked the BBC crew.

Oh, and he did apologise to his crew and the viewers afterwards.

Scientologists call it "fair game". Whenever someone tries to discredit them, they go on the attack and try to discredit the discreditor.

Sweeny snapped, because he played into the Scientologists' hands.  They harassed him for days on end to try and get such a reaction, and then they immediately use it to discredit the BBC.  The video on their site is so badly constructed that even an idiot could see how one-sided it is...I give my full support to the BBC, especially considering the number of times Tommy Davis (the CoS rep) talked down to Sweeny, while he maintained his composure.

Besides...Highly respected British media entity vs. Cult founded by man who said 'The quickest way to make money is to found a religion'...who do I trust more? :huh:

One thing is for certain, when Ben Elton writes - he is a genius. When he does a stand-up routine - he's crap.

The Young Ones was indeed one of the best ever sit-coms. :D
