it's a matter of the translator not knowing how people actually speak. we don't "talk crap" or "rubbish" or "trash" in spanish. we, literally anyway, speak "stupidities"... "Pendejadas". that is how teachers catch students using these dumbass programs lol

They should keep up the uh...."good work", I guess. Quite an achievement, I must say. After all, I have now managed to find a group that I despise more than Children of Bodom and Blind Guardian combined.

I think I made it a bit longer, but not much. And that piece of trash inspired the following rant:

Maybe I'm just getting old, but what the hell happened to the time-honored tradition that metal bands[sup]1[/sup] always wear long hair? Exceptions can be granted for shaved heads or Bruce Dickinson, plus of course the decades-old exception for Rob Halford[sup]2[/sup], but that's about it. These short-haired idiots playing rock music (not just metal) give rock music a bad name. They all look like frat boys who have too much time on their hands. Rock is supposed to be about rebelling against the norms of mainstream society. That's why I can respect a guy like Marilyn Manson, even if I don't like his music: he creeped out every straight arrow and their mother.[sup]3[/sup]

[sup]1[/sup]I don't mean to imply that the vid Blackie posted was anything I'd call a metal band. It's a bunch of idiots making terrible noise.

[sup]2[/sup]When Halford tried to grow long hair in the Turbo era (seek out the "Turbo Lover" video if you're too young to remember), it was a travesty.[sup]4[/sup]

Apparently, Despised Icon play a genre that is known as "deathcore". Other bands in this uhm....."genre" are Job For A Cowboy, Waking the Cadaver, Suicide Silence and Bring me the Horizon.

If you had a band like Despised Icon playing a crossover 'blackened death metal'/'grindcore' style with lyrics about gory necrophilia, would that make them 'Blackened-death-gore-porn-grind-core'? :bigsmile:
