So Google laid off 12,000 employees. CEO Sundar Pichai, as others before him, took full responsibility. Wow. How moving. What exactly does his "accountability" means? That his bonuses will be cut? His heart will be broken?
At least he didn't appear with tears in his eyes in a video as the Meta guy.

I’m deeply sorry for that. The fact that these changes will impact the lives of Googlers weighs heavily on me, and I take full responsibility for the decisions that led us here.
